Danny Wimmer Presents is in Los Angeles -based organizer and promoter for music festivals .

history

The company's founder and namesake is Danny Wimmer, who has been organizing concerts since 1993. In 2011 Wimmer founded the company Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP), which quickly rose to become the largest independent festival organizer in the USA. DWP has its focus on festivals index rock and metal and organized twelve annual festivals in ten cities in the United States. The Louder Than Life festival in Louisville , Kentucky became the largest rock festival in the United States in 2019, with 128,000 spectators. In October 2019, DWP announced that the band Metallica will headline two sets at five festivals organized by DWP .

Until 2018 DWP worked with the Anschutz Entertainment Group at some festivals . After DWP terminated the collaboration and stopped the Carolina Rebellion and Rock on the Range festivals , DWP was sued by the former partner.
