Josef Hrdlička
Josef Hrdlička (born January 19, 1942 in Velké Opatovice ) is a Czech Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Olomouc .
Life
Josef Hrdlička was ordained a priest on July 1, 1972 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Olomouc and titular bishop of Thunudruma on March 17, 1990 . The Archbishop of Olomouc , František Vaňák , donated the bishop to him on April 7th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Vojtěch Cikrle , Bishop of Brno , and Karel Otčenášek , Bishop of Königgrätz . As a motto he chose Vos dixi amicos .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on February 1, 2017.
