Josef Plantl

Josef Plantl (born March 11, 1880 in Rohitsch , Lower Styria , † March 26, 1923 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee , Carinthia ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician of the Greater German People's Party (GDVP).

biography

Pflanzl studied after school attendance law and was studying and successful after graduation to doctor of law as an attorney in Klagenfurt down.

On March 20, 1921, as a GDVP candidate, he became a member of the Austrian Federal Council and was a member of it for a few months during the first legislative period until July 22, 1921.

During this time he was President of the Federal Council from June 1 to July 21, 1921 and thus the second President of this chamber after Jakob Reumann . At the same time he was the only President of the Federal Council from the ranks of the GDVP.
