Josef Pross (born January 12, 2002 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Pross began his career at SV Winzendorf . For the 2013/14 season he moved to SC Lichtenwörth . For the 2016/17 season he came to the academy of FK Austria Wien , where he went through all age groups.

For the 2019/20 season, he moved into the squad of the second team of Austria. He made his debut in the 2nd division in February 2020 when he came on as a substitute for Csaba Mester in the 78th minute against SV Horn on the 17th matchday of that season .

National team

Pross played for an Austrian national youth team for the first time in April 2017. In September 2018 he made his debut against Cyprus for the Austrian U-17 selection . With this he also took part in the EM in 2019 . In this he was used in all three games, but with Austria he was eliminated without any points as the last of Group D in the preliminary round.

In October 2019 he played for the U-18 team for the first time against England .
