Harald Suchard (born November 26, 1976 in Eisenstadt ) is a former Austrian soccer player and now coach .
Career
As a player
Suchard began his football career at SV Rohrbach in his home country Burgenland . In 1991 he came to the Südstadt for FC Admira / Wacker , for whom he played in the Bundesliga for the first time in 1994 . Between 1995 and 1996 he played for SV Stockerau for a year and a half before returning to Admira. He rose in 1998 with the Mödlingers and in 2000 again in the top league. 2005, after the Mödlinger relegated to the second division, Suchard moved to the second-class second team of FK Austria Wien . There he was an experienced young guard and captain and had a contract until the end of the 2007/08 season. After his contract expired, Suchard moved to the Lower Austrian regional league for 1. SC Sollenau , with whom he was champion in the 2009/10 season and was promoted to the Regional League East. From the 2010/2011 season he played at SC Leopoldsdorf in 1st Class East, with which he was promoted to the regional league. After the 2011/12 season, he ended his active career.
As a trainer
In the spring of 2009 Suchard got into the coaching business and worked as an assistant coach for the U-19 team in the academy of FC Admira Wacker Mödling , where he also managed the academy's game operations. From the 2010/11 season he was the head coach of the U-15 team and from the 2011/12 season head coach of the U-16 team. From 2013 to 2014 he trained the U-15 again, and from September 2013 to June 2017 he also headed the Admira Junior Academy.
From September 2017 he trained the U-16 team in the SK Rapid Vienna academy . For the 2019/20 season he became the coach of the second-rate team at FK Austria Wien , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2023.
