Alexander Kiene (born December 30, 1977 in Stadtoldendorf ) is a former German soccer player and now coach .

Career

As a player

Kiene played for VfV Hildesheim until 1999 . Between 1999 and 2001 he was active for SVG Einbeck . In the 2001/02 season he played for SG Wehrstedt / Bad Salzdetfurth . For the 2002/03 season he returned to Hildesheim. In the 2003/04 season he played for SV Linden 07 . For the 2004/05 season he moved to TSV Havelse . With Havelse he rose to the Lower Saxony league in 2005 . In the 2005/06 season he came to 27 appearances in the fifth-highest division. For the 2006/07 season he moved to league competitor Sportfreunde Ricklingen . After three appearances for Ricklingen, he ended his career during the winter break of that season.

As a trainer

From the 2007/08 season Kiene coached the sixth division Prussia Hameln . With Hameln he rose to the top division at the end of the season. After the 2008/09 season he left the club. In the 2010/11 season he coached the seventh division OSV Hannover . In January 2012 he became the coach of the sixth division SV Arminia Hannover . With Arminia, he rose to the top league in 2014. In December 2014 he took over the regional league team BSV Rehden . In October 2015, he dissolved his contract with Rehden and moved to league competitor TSV Havelse , where he had already played as a player.

After the 2016/17 season he left Havelse after his contract expired. For the 2019/20 season he was coach of VfB Oldenburg . After one season he left Oldenburg again at the end of the season.

For the 2020/21 season he was coach of the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau .
