Dominik Štumberger (born April 17, 1999 in Graz ) is a Croatian - Austrian soccer player .

Career

society

Štumberger started his career at GSV Wacker . In 2006 he moved to the Grazer AK . In 2009 he joined the youth team at SK Sturm Graz . In 2014 he moved to the academy of FC Red Bull Salzburg . In October 2016 he made his debut against Vardar Skopje for the U-19 team of the "Bulls" in the UEFA Youth League .

In March 2017 he made his debut for the farm team FC Liefering in the second division when he came on as a substitute for Lucas Xavier Urias on the 22nd matchday of the 2016/17 season against Floridsdorfer AC in the 67th minute .

For the 2017/18 season he is a permanent member of Liefering's squad. He left Liefering after the 2018/19 season.

He then moved to league competitor SC Austria Lustenau in July 2019 , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021.

National team

Štumberger played for the Austrian U-17 team for the first time in August 2015 . He played his last game for this in April 2016.

In November 2018 he made his debut against Belarus for the Croatian U-20 selection .

Personal

His brother Marcel (* 2001) is also a soccer player.
