Domenik Schierl (born July 20, 1994 ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .

Career

Domenik Schierl started playing football at TSV St. Johann and moved to Salzburg in December 2007 to join the FC Red Bull Salzburg academy . There he went through the junior classes and in 2011 was second goalie behind Thomas Dähne at the Red Bull Juniors and then at FC Liefering. On August 16, 2013 he made his first league debut in the goal of FC Liefering in a 3-0 home win against SV Horn .

For the 2014/15 season he moved to SC Wiener Neustadt in the Bundesliga . With Neustadt he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2015. After four years in the second highest division, you had to leave it in 2019 due to forced relegation.

He then moved to second division SC Austria Lustenau for the 2019/20 season , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020.
