Tobias Berger (born November 2, 2001 in Schwarzach im Pongau ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Berger began his career at USV Dorfgastein . In 2012 he switched to the youth team at SC Bad Hofgastein . In January 2015, he moved to the academy of FC Red Bull Salzburg .

In May 2019 he made his debut for the farm team FC Liefering in the second division when he was in the starting line-up against the second team of FC Wacker Innsbruck on matchday 29 of the 2018/19 season.

In January 2020 he switched to league competitor SC Austria Lustenau , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2021.

National team

Berger made his debut against Georgia for the Austrian U-17 selection in February 2018 . In September 2018 he played against Romania for the U-18 team for the first time .

In November 2019, he played for the U-19 team for the first time against Gibraltar .
