Matthias Braunöder (born March 27, 2002 in Eisenstadt ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Braunöder began his career at SV Sigleß . For the 2011/12 season he moved to the youth team of FK Austria Wien , where he would later play in the academy.

For the 2019/20 season, he moved into the squad of the second team of Austria. He made his debut in the second division in November 2019, when he came on as a substitute for Aleksandar Jukic in the 87th minute against Kapfenberger SV on the 14th matchday of that season .

National team

Braunöder played for an Austrian national youth team for the first time in June 2017. In September 2018 he made his debut against Cyprus for the Austrian U-17 selection . With this he also took part in the EM in 2019 . In this he was used as captain in all three games, but with Austria he was eliminated without any points as the last of Group D in the preliminary round.

In September 2019 he played against Ireland for the U-18 team for the first time .
