Josef Schoenkaes

Anton Albert Josef Schoenkaes (born May 24, 1883 in Altenheerse , Höxter district , † after 1929 ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Life

Josef Schoenkaes grew up as the son of a landowner in Altenheerse. He attended the Marianum high school in Warburg . He then studied law and political science in Freiburg , Munich , Berlin and Münster .

In 1909 he began as a trainee lawyer at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . In 1914 he worked for the district office and magistrate of the city of Paderborn. From 1915 to 1916 he did military service and received his doctorate. In 1916 he was employed by the district administrator in Crossen and in 1918 he was appointed to represent the district administration in the district of Crossen , Brandenburg province . In 1919 he was appointed district administrator.

On November 7, 1919 he was entrusted with the administration of the district office in the Warburg district , Westphalia province . On April 24, 1920, the decree followed with the appointment of the district administrator there. In 1929 he was given an indefinite leave of absence in connection with a public prosecutor's investigation. His successor, initially by order, was Dr. Friedrich Boeckenhoff.
