Joseph-Paul Strebler SMA (born September 12, 1892 in Mertzwiller , German Empire , † March 12, 1984 in Saint-Pierre ) was a French, Roman Catholic bishop and missionary. He was ordained priest in the Society of Africa Missions on July 10, 1921 by Bishop Jules-Joseph Moury , Vicar Apostolic of the Ivory Coast. In 1937 he was sent to Togo and on July 24 of the same year he was appointed Prefect of Sokodé . On September 14, 1955, Pope Pius II appointed him Archbishop of Lomé . On June 16, 1961 he resigned the leadership of the archbishopric and was appointed titular archbishop of the titular archbishopric Nicopolis in Epiro .

Joseph-Paul Strebler attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
