Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo

Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo (born March 2, 1945 in Thức Hoá ) is a Vietnamese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Xuân Lộc .

Life

Joseph Đinh Đức Đạo received on 27 March 1971, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 28, 2013, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . as titular bishop of Gadiaufala and auxiliary bishop in Xuân Lộc. The bishop of Xuân Lộc, Dominique Nguyên Chu Trinh , donated him episcopal ordination on April 5 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Thomas Vu Dình Hiêu , coadjutor bishop of Bùi Chu , and Pierre Nguyên Van Kham , auxiliary bishop in Ho Chi Minh City .

Pope Francis appointed him coadjutor bishop of Xuân Lộc on June 4, 2015 . With Dominique Nguyên Chu Trinh's resignation on May 7, 2016, he succeeded him as Bishop of Xuân Lộc.

On June 6, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him a member of the Congregation for Catholic Education and on July 8, 2020, a member of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue .
