Joseph Anthony Zziwa
Joseph Anthony Zziwa (born February 16, 1956 in Mubende ) is a Ugandan priest and bishop of Kiyinda-Mityana .
Life
Joseph Anthony Zziwa was ordained a priest on November 16, 1980 . Pope John Paul II appointed him coadjutor bishop of Kiyinda-Mityana on November 19, 2001 .
The bishop of Kiyinda-Mityana, Joseph Mukwaya , donated him episcopal ordination on March 16 the next year ; Co- consecrators were Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala , Archbishop of Kampala , and Christophe Pierre , Apostolic Nuncio in Uganda .
After Joseph Mukwaya's resignation , he succeeded him on October 23, 2004 as Bishop of Kiyinda-Mityana.
In 2018 he was elected President of the Bishops' Conference.
