Joseph Fahrbach
Joseph Fahrbach (born August 25, 1804 in Vienna ; † June 6, 1883 there ) was a musician .
The brother of Anton Fahrbach , Friedrich Fahrbach and Philipp Fahrbach the Elder was military bandmaster from 1841 to 1848 , then chancellor with Archduchess Sophie , between 1857 and 1867 flute and guitar virtuoso of the court orchestra and the court opera theater . Most recently he ran his own music school .
He wrote flute concerts and opera fantasies and published works on issues of military music as well as textbooks for wood and brass instruments , including the books Latest Vienna Flute School (1835), Latest Vienna Bassoon School (1841), Latest Vienna Clarinet School (1841) and Organizatione della musica militare austriaca ( 1846).
He was buried in the Matzleinsdorf Evangelical Cemetery in Vienna. The grave has already been dissolved.
