Joseph Faltin

Joseph Eugen Faltin (born August 5, 1852 in Oberwitz ; † 1933 ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Faltin attended the elementary schools in Oberwitz and Krappitz , the high school in Opole and the University of Breslau . During his studies in 1874 he became a member of the KDStV Winfridia Breslau in the CV .

He was a court assessor since November 26, 1884, a lawyer at the Royal District Court of Beuthen from May 4, 1885 to April 1887, from then on a lawyer in Groß-Strehlitz and since October 23, 1891, a royal notary. He was also a lieutenant in the Landwehr and traveled extensively in Russia.

From 1898 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1898 to 1907 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Opole District 7 ( Pleß , Rybnik ) and the German Center Party .

After the First World War Faltin was 1919-1921 member of the Constituent Prussian State Assembly and thereafter until his resignation on November 19, 1922 Member of the Prussian Landtag .
