Joseph Michael Gilmore (born March 22, 1893 in New York City , USA , † April 2, 1962 ) was Bishop of Helena .

Life

Joseph Michael Gilmore received on 25 July 1915, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 16, 1935, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Helena. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Amleto Giovanni Cicognani , donated him episcopal ordination on February 19, 1936 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Great Falls , Edwin Vincent O'Hara , and the Bishop of Baker City , Joseph Francis McGrath .
