Joseph worm

Joseph Wurm (born December 13, 1786 in Großaign near Furth im Wald , † June 29, 1866 in Munich ) was a German Catholic priest.

Career

He was the son of the mercenary and master weaver Johann Ev. Wurm and his wife Maria Walburga. From 1798 to 1807 he attended high school in Straubing and the Lyceum in Munich.

Wurm was a village pastor in Riedering and at the same time a district school inspector. On March 7, 1844 he was appointed cathedral capital in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising .

From 1840 to 1843 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian Estates Assembly . His attitudes were judged “according to the monarchical principle and strictly Catholic in religious terms” , and he himself was judged to be “scientifically educated, eager, very good schoolboy” .

He died at the age of 81 of old age and previous typhus .
