Josh Bazell

Joshua Arneas Bazell (* 1970 ) is an American doctor and crime writer .

Life

Bazell graduated from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in English literature . He completed his studies with the aim of obtaining a PhD in English literature from Duke University in Durham (North Carolina) . He then applied to study medicine at Columbia University in New York . He took up his studies only after a six-year break (while he was working as a screenwriter - to earn money - ) and passed his state examination as a medical doctor . He completed his medical internship at the University of California .
