Joshua Neville Carter (born November 20, 1986 in Dallas ) is an American basketball player . He played for Texas A&M in college . In the 2006/07 season, Carter led the three-point statistics in the NCAA division with a rate of 50%. In doing so, he not only broke the team record of his college team, but also became one of the most important players of his year.

For his outstanding performance in the 2008/2009 season, he was elected to the Phillips 66 All-Big 12 Third Team.

Carter completed his college career with 1566 points. This makes him the seventh most successful Texas A&M player.

In the 2009/2010 season Carter played for the German BBL team and Euroleague participant EWE Baskets Oldenburg . For the 2010/11 season he moved to Israel to Maccabi Ashdod . In the 2012/2013 season he played for BK Spartak Saint Petersburg , for the 2013/2014 season he moved to Mens Sana Basket Siena in Italy.
