Joshua Greenberg (born March 6, 1988 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American - Israeli ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Bat Yam in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2010 .

Career

Joshua Greenberg, who was born in the United States , has played with HC Bat Yam in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2010 . In the 2011/12 season he was able to win the main round with his club, but lost the final game against the Maccabi Metulla Eggenbreggers with 1: 2 after a penalty shootout. In 2016 and 2018 he won the Israeli championship title with the club .

International

In the Israeli national team , Greenberg made his debut in September 2012 at the pre-qualification tournament in Zagreb for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , in which the Israelis could not win a game. At the following Division II World Cup , he was also part of the Israeli squad and rose with his teammates from group B to group A by winning the tournament in İzmit, Turkey . He also played in Division II at the 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 World Championships . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang .
