Josimar Rodrigues Souza Roberto (born August 16, 1987 in Ipatinga ), also called Josimar , is a Brazilian football player .
Career
Josimar learned to play football at Ipatinga FC , a club in the state of Minas Gerais , with which he signed his first contract in 2006. After only a short time he went to Asia in the same year . Here he signed a 3-year contract with the Japanese club Ventforet Kofu , who played in the Japanese J1 League . In 2007 he was loaned by the club to the second division club Ehime FC . After the contract in Kofu ended, Ehime FC signed him for three years. He scored seven goals in 33 games. In 2012 he moved to league rivals Tokyo Verdy . After 16 appearances, he returned to his native Brazil in 2013 , where he joined the Clube Esportivo Lajeadense. After not being used here, he moved to Saudi Arabia in 2014 . Here he stood 12 times for Al-Fateh SC on the field. In 2016 he moved to Thailand . Here he signed a contract with Army United , a club that is based in the capital Bangkok and played in the country's first division, the Thai Premier League . After 30 appearances and 16 goals, he went to Port FC , which is also based in the capital. Here he played 28 games and scored 13 goals. In 2018 he went back to his native Brazil, where he signed a contract with CS Alagoano . In mid-2018 he moved back to Thailand to play for the second division club PTT Rayong FC . With 10 goals in 13 games, he played a key role in the club's promotion to the Thai League . For the 2019 season he moved to the second division team Police Tero FC . He scored eleven goals in 15 games in the row. Since July 2019 he has been under contract with the first division club Port FC again. In the same year he was with Port in the final of the FA Cup that Port won 1-0 against the first division club Ratchaburi Mitr Phol from Ratchaburi . At the end of the season, his contract was not published. Josimar has been without a contract or association since the beginning of 2020.
