Joszef Török (born January 30, 1954 ) is a former Hungarian football player .

Career

Török came to the German Bundesliga in 1985 from the Hungarian club Zalaegerszegi TE FC , he was hired by SV Waldhof Mannheim . At Waldhof, the new addition to the team of coach Klaus Schlappner was support in the attack alongside players like Fritz Walter , Karl-Heinz Bührer and Thomas Remark . In the 1985/86 season , Török made his debut on the second match day when he was substituted on in the last minute of the 2-0 win against Bayer 05 Uerdingen . He played four more games during the season, all of which he was substituted on in the second half. Waldhof finished eighth in the table and another season in the Bundesliga started for Török. After three more substitutions in the last ten minutes of the game, in the 1986/87 season , he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga in November 1986 , for KSV Hessen Kassel . For Kassel he made his debut in League 2 on November 22, 1986, the 17th matchday against SC Freiburg . Török scored his first goal in German professional football in the 12th minute of the game, the game was won 1: 2. On the next day he was able to prove his qualities as a striker again. In the game against Alemannia Aachen , he again took the lead after seven minutes, this time from the penalty spot. The game ended 1-1. In the further course of the season, he completed 13 more games, but could not score any more. As the table penultimate, Kassel rose at the end of the season. Török then ended his career.
