Juan María de la Fuente (born August 15, 1976 in Buenos Aires ) is a former Argentine sailor .
successes
Juan de la Fuente won the 2006 South American Games and won the gold medal in the 470 dinghy with Javier Conte . In this he took five times at the Olympic Games in part and gave in 2000 in Sydney his debut. Together with Javier Conte, he immediately won the bronze medal when they claimed third place behind the Australian and US boats with 57 points, one point ahead of Nick Rogers and Joe Glanfield . The 2004 Olympic Games in Athens joined de la Fuente, and Conte in 13th place, 2008 in Beijing they were decades. With Lucas Calabrese he won another bronze medal in London in 2012 after the two had finished the regatta with 63 points behind the Australian and British boats. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , he and Calabrese did not get past 16th place. He ended his career after the 2016 Games.
