Juanita Boisseau
Juanita Boisseau Ramseur (born July 22, 1911 in Baltimore , Maryland, † May 22, 2012 in New York City , New York) was an American dancer.
Juanita Boisseau was a star dancer at the Cotton Club , a nightclub in New York City that featured numerous well-known African American jazz musicians and entertainers during the Prohibition era in the 1920s and 1930s . She worked notably with Lena Horne , Duke Ellington, and Louis Armstrong .
She was married to Frederick D. Ramseur († 2000).
