Judith Dornys

Judith Dornys (born February 21, 1941 in Budapest , † April 26, 1989 in Paris ) was a Canadian actress and dancer of Hungarian origin.

Life

Judith Dornys was born in Budapest as the daughter of a lawyer. Together with her parents, she first emigrated to Paris; later she went to Canada, where she became a Canadian citizen. Dornys took dance and ballet lessons at an early age, danced at numerous events and in 1959 became the youngest prima ballerina at the Städtische Oper in Berlin. In 1959 she received the Critics' Prize of the Association of German Critics for her dance performance. V. In the same year there was an appearance on The Gene Kelly Showon US television. A career as a film actress followed. In the cinema, the petite actress with the big dark eyes was primarily subscribed to the role of the good girl. She played her most important role in the Edgar Wallace film The Crypt with the Riddle Lock as Kathleen Kent, harassed by crooks. She ended her film career in 1969.

Dornys had been married to a Danish industrialist since 1959.
