Judith Pauly-Bender (born April 19, 1957 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from high school , Pauly-Bender studied law , political science and sociology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD.

politics

Pauly-Bender has been a member of the SPD since 1978.

Since April 5, 1991 she was a member of the Hessian state parliament. Pauly-Bender always ran in the Offenbach Land III constituency and entered parliament via the state list. She was a member of the main committee and the European committee as well as the Hessian animal protection advisory board (as of February 2013). From April 1999 to April 2008 Pauly-Bender was chairwoman of the social policy committee of the Hessian state parliament. At the end of the 18th legislative period , she left the state parliament.

As chairman of the SPD, Pauly-Bender was a member of the inquiry commission for the reform of the Hessian constitution in the 16th legislative period.

She was a member of the 11th Federal Assembly in 1999 and the 13th Federal Assembly in 2005 .

From 1989 to 1992 and from 2001 to 2007 she was a member of the association assembly of the LWV Hessen .

From 1989 to 1995 she was a member of the Offenbach district council .
