Judith Schwentner
Judith Schwentner (born September 5, 1968 in Graz ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ) and former journalist . From 2008 to 2017 she was a member of the Austrian National Council . Since January 17, 2019 she has been the successor of Tina Wirnsberger City Councilor for Environment and Women in Graz .
Life
After graduating from the Academic Gymnasium in Graz (1986), Schwentner studied Slavic and German studies in Graz from 1987 to 1994 (with a research stay from 1992 to 1993 in Moscow ). From 1993 she completed a supplementary course " German as a foreign language" at the Karl-Franzens University Graz and in 2007 and 2008 a "course on intercultural advice for immigrants and organizations" at the ISOP (Graz) association .
She is the daughter of Erwin Schwentner , married to the Graz journalist Thomas Wolkinger and has two children (* 1995 and * 1998).
