Róberto Julián Duranona Larduet (born December 8, 1965 in Cuba ) is a former Cuban and Icelandic handball player .

The 2.02 m tall Duranona was mostly used in the left back space.

With the Cuban national team he took part in the 1986 World Cup, where they took 15th of 16 places. Duranona was the second top scorer behind the Korean Kang Jae-won with 50 goals . At the 1990 World Cup he finished 14th with Cuba out of 16 teams, but was top scorer with 55 goals together with Russian Alexander Tutschkin . In total, he played 270 international matches for Cuba.

After moving to the Icelandic club KA Akureyri in 1995, he also took on the Icelandic citizenship and completed 61 more international matches (202 goals). In 1997 he moved to the German handball league for ThSV Eisenach , for which he scored 426 goals in three years. After stints at TuS N-Lübbecke and HSG Wetzlar , he left the Bundesliga in 2003 to become an amateur. His last known stop was in 2006 in Castellón, Spain .
