Julia Retzlaff (born August 10, 1987 in Schwerin , today Julia Rienhoff ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Retzlaff began her sporting career at Schweriner SC . Later she was trained by the youth team of the VC Olympia Berlin . Until 2005 she played for the second division club 1. VC Parchim . Then she returned to the Bundesliga club in her hometown. In her very first season, she won the double from the German championship and victory in the DVV Cup . Your team successfully defended the title in the cup competition the following season . Retzlaff herself could not be on the field in the Gerry Weber Stadium, however, as she had suffered a serious knee injury with a meniscus and several ligament tears at the Bundesliga match in Leverkusen a week earlier . In May 2007 she began studying tourism management at Baltic College , a private university. In 2009, 2011 and 2012, the outside attacker won the German championship again with the SSC and the DVV Cup again in 2012 . Then she ended her professional career. For the 2015/16 season she moved to third division club VSV Havel Oranienburg .

Julia Retzlaff is married today and is called Julia Rienhoff.
