Julian David (born December 23, 1989 in Mannheim ) is a German pop singer , musical performer , entertainer and actor whose focus is on pop hits.

Career

After graduating from secondary school, with special permission from the Free State of Bavaria, Julian David completed a four-year course at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich, which he graduated in 2010 with "very good" as a musical actor. David appeared at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern in The King and I , at the Bonn Opera in Hair , as Danny Zukow in the musical Grease and as Radames in Elton John's musical Aida .

He gained greater fame through his time in the band Voxxclub . The separation followed in 2015. He got a recording deal with Electrola and produced the first single Am Ende des Tagens . The accompanying video had to be censored because of revealing scenes. Felix Gauder was responsible for producing the debut album, with cabaret artists and songwriters Olaf Bossi and Oli Nova contributing to the title track and five other songs . It was published Addicted to You on October 9, 2015.

Also in 2015, Julian David was indebted to director Eric Dean Hordes for the role of the young man in his film Goblin - That's Really Troll , his acting debut alongside Désirée Nick and Helmut Krauss . The film was released in October 2019.

In September 2015 Julian David hosted his first TV show for Sat.1 Gold .

In 2016 the single "Hollywood" followed, in 2017 "Spectacular".

Julian David has hosted his own radio show on Schlagerplanet Radio since 2017 . In this context, a weekly YouTube show "Die Schlagerköche" is also offered. Here Julian David and his moderator colleague cook the recipes of popular stars.

In December 2017 Julian David took part in the project pop stars for children and sang the Christmas hit "Auf once" with the group. The hit was released in December and the proceeds will benefit children in need.

In 2019 David was back in front of the camera for Hordes. This time alongside Neil Malik Abdullah and Daniela Reimchen in the streaming series Patchwork Gangsta produced by the SWR for the media offering funk . In July 2019 David released his second solo album Without Limit .
