Julie Rosenstand Ølgaard (born September 29, 1981 in Copenhagen , Denmark ) is a Danish actress .

Life

Julie R. Ølgaard grew up in Hellerup . In 1999, after three years of training, she finished her acting studies at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in Los Angeles . She had her first major success in 2003 with the horror film Midsummer . Since then she has appeared in films such as After the Wedding , Headhunters and in the role of Nanna Birk Larsen in the first season of Commissioner Lund - Das Verbrechen . For her portrayal of Trine in Christian E. Christiansen's drama Råzone , she was nominated for best leading actress for a Bodil . She received a nomination for best leading actress for a Robert in 2009 for her role as Stephanie in Christian E. Christiansen's drama Dig og Mig .

Ølgaard is married to the Danish rapper LOC .
