Julio Adolfo Cozzi (born July 14, 1922 in Buenos Aires , † September 25, 2011 there ) was an Argentine football player . He played in the position of goalkeeper .
Club career
Cozzi began his career in 1941 at Club Atlético Platense . In 1949 he moved to CD Los Millonarios from Bogotá to Colombia , where he was temporarily teammate of Alfredo Di Stéfano and Adolfo Pedernera . In 1949 and from 1951 to 1953 he won the Colombian championship and the Copa Colombia in 1953 .
In 1955 he returned to Platense. From 1956 to 1959 he played for Independiente . In 1960 he ended his active career at Club Atlético Banfield in the 2nd Argentine Division.
National team
With the Argentine national team , he won the Copa America in 1947 .
