Julius Leonhard Heubner

Julius Leonhard Heubner (born July 30, 1810 in Plauen , † April 1, 1894 in Mylau ) was a Protestant clergyman and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Heubner attended the Landesschule zu Grimma and the University of Leipzig . From 1835 to 1838 he was a teacher at the educational institute in Kloschwitz and from 1839 to 1843 he was the first country deacon in Plauen. In 1843 he became a Protestant pastor in Mylau, where, in addition to his office, he co-administered the second spiritual position for three years in order to use the proceeds to establish a fund for the construction of a new church, which through collections and bequests grew to 11,000 thalers within eleven years . He also founded an active association for the poor, a Sunday school and other charitable institutions.

From 1867 he was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament for the constituency of Saxony 22 ( Auerbach , Reichenbach ) and the German Progressive Party .
