Julius student
Joseph Julius Schüler (born April 7, 1850 in Ebringen ; † September 19, 1914 there ) was a farmer, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Julius Schüler attended elementary school in Ehaben and served from 1871 to 1874 in the cavalry battery in the 1st Baden Field Artillery Regiment No. 14. He was mayor in Ehaben from 1892 until his resignation in 1904. He was also President of the Baden farmers' association since 1904.
Julius Schüler was a member of the Baden state parliament from November 1891 to 1913 and of the German Reichstag from 1900 to 1912 for the constituency of Baden 7 ( Offenburg , Kehl ) and the German Center Party . In the latter he was a member of the Wine Law Commission and Customs Tariff Commission.
He was the bearer of the steel war memorial for combatants , the commemorative medal and the order of the Zähringer lion .
