Julius Ernst Sieg (born December 27, 1848 in Raczyniewo ; † November 26, 1923 in Sopot ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Sieg attended high school in Thorn and trained as a businessman in Stettin and then in Paris . After the war in 1870/71 he established a grain business in Gdansk , gave it up in 1880, became a farmer and bought back his parents' estate, which had been sold in 1873 because of inheritance. In 1870/71 he took part in the war as a one-year volunteer with the 2nd Guard Regiment. Farewell as first lieutenant of the Landwehr, he was a member of the district council, the district committee and district deputy. He was also a member of the West Prussian Provincial Parliament , the Provincial Committee and the Customs Tariff Commission.

From 1893 to 1898 and from 1900 to 1913 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1898 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Marienwerder 3 Graudenz , Strasburg (West Pr.) And the National Liberal Party .

He was a bearer of the Red Eagle Order III. Class with the ribbon and the order of the crown III. Class .
