Jung Gil-ok (born September 15, 1980 ) is a former South Korean foil fencer .

successes

Jung Gil-ok achieved international successes especially in the team competition. In 2011 and 2013 she was Asian champion with them , in 2007 and 2012 she finished second. In the individual she won bronze in 2007 and 2013 and silver in 2011 and 2012. At the Asian Games in Doha in 2006 , she won the gold medal with the team. In 2005, Jung became world champion in the team competition in Leipzig . In addition, she was bronze with the South Korean team in 2006 and 2011 . At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing she finished 24th in the singles. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 , she reached the battle for bronze with the team, which was won against France with 45:32. In the individual she finished 15th.
