Jung So-min (born March 16, 1989 in Seoul ; real name Kim Yun-ji ) is a South Korean actress .

Life

Jung So-min was born on March 16, 1989 in Seoul . She has a younger brother. She learned ballet from elementary school to middle school, but stopped because her parents opposed it and learned traditional Korean dance in high school.

At first she did not tell her father that she was applying to the university for the subject "drama" and he was not at all pleased at first until he saw that he did not have to pay tuition fees through a scholarship. In an interview, Jung revealed that she would like to become an actress where people keep their characters in mind rather than themselves.

Jung So-min received a lot of attention from her supporting role in the television drama Bad Guy (2010). She then got the lead role in the series Playful Kiss , an adaptation of the Japanese manga Itazura na Kiss . In 2013 she played the leading role in the television film Came to Me and Became a Star , which tells a love story between two people in poor circumstances.

In 2015 she played one of the leading roles in the coming-of-age film Twenty alongside Kim Woo-bin , Lee Jun-ho , Kang Ha-neul , Lee Yu-bi and Min Hyo-rin .
