Juschka Spitzer

Juschka Spitzer (born April 20, 1969 in Sangerhausen ) is a German theater actress and director .

Life

After attending the Palucca University of Dance Dresden , Spitzer initially worked as an assistant director at the Brandenburg Theater in Brandenburg an der Havel and at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam . Spitzer's first directorial work was Lovers by Brian Friel (1994). From 1995 to 1998 she studied acting at the drama school "Der Kreis" Berlin and then worked as a freelance actress at the Teater Kreatur Berlin and the Staatsschauspiel Dresden . This was followed by engagements at the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss (1999–2004), the Neue Bühne Senftenberg (2004–2014), the Volkstheater Rostock (2014–2017) and as a guest at the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Hamburger Kammerspiele.
