Jutta Neumann (athlete)

Jutta Neumann (née Krüger; born August 22, 1932 in Berlin-Lankwitz ) is a former German javelin thrower .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 she was eighth (44.30 m) and fourth (47.39 m) at the European Athletics Championships in Bern in 1954 . In 1958 she won bronze with 50.50 m at the European Championships in Stockholm .

In 1952 , 1954 and 1958 she became German champion . She set her personal best of 54.66 m on June 22, 1958 in Berlin .

Neumann initially belonged to the sports club SSC Südwest Berlin , later to the OSC Berlin . It started under the name Jutta Krüger until 1956. In her active days she was 1.72 m tall and weighed 67 kg.
