The Kölner Eifelhütte is an alpine club hut of the hut category MH of the Rhineland-Cologne section of the German Alpine Club in the Eifel . The listed building is located in the Heimbach district of Blens in the Düren district .
history
The oldest beams date from 1595, and the hut has belonged to the Cologne Alpine Club since 1964. A general renovation of the hut took place from 2010 to 2012.
Tours
Connecting tour to the five DAV huts in the Rur Valley in Blens, Hausen and Abenden : The DAV sections operate a total of seven huts in the Rureifel . This tour connects the five huts that are located directly below in the Rur Valley - Cologne Eifelhütte in Blens, Duisburg Eifelhütte and Krefeld Eifelhütte in Hausen, Düsseldorfer Eifelhütte and the Mülheimer Eifelhütte in evenings. There is also the Dürener Hut in Nideggen Castle and the Rheydter Hut in Kleinhau .
