Königsberg is a district of the municipality of Heiligengrabe in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in Brandenburg . The village lies on the main road L 144. South of the core area of the village of 53 is ha big Konigsberg Lake ( see list of lakes in Brandenburg ).

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1274. The oldest building in the village is the stone church from the 15th century. A water mill was first mentioned in 1504 and was in operation until the 1960s. It then fell into disrepair until it was restored in 1990 and 1991 and converted into a restaurant.

On December 31, 2004, Königsberg, which had successfully defended itself against incorporation into Wittstock / Dosse , was incorporated into Heiligengrabe.
