Köprübaşı ( Turkish for bridgehead ), (Kurd. Curnik ) is a village in the district of Kızıltepe in the Turkish province of Mardin . Köprübaşı is located in southeastern Anatolia at 465 m above sea level, about 25 km southwest of Kızıltepe.

The original name of the village is Curnik. This name is registered with the land registry.

In 1985, 182 people lived in Köprübaşı. In 2009 the village had 391 inhabitants.
