content

Yumurcak lives in a village in the Wild West. One day he is kidnapped on the way to school by the gangster Demirbilek (international: Monty Donovan) and his gang. His mother Maureen, who cannot pay the ransom, turns to the gunslinger Keskin, who has renounced the use of weapons for several years because he was responsible for the death of a child. One of the workers on Maureen's farm, who is paid by Demirbilek, serves as an informant, so that Keskin is kidnapped too. Now Maureen is ready to even sell her house to pay the ransom. When Maureen discovers the traitor among her workers at the handover, she too is held prisoner. In the meantime, however, Keskin and Yumurcak have been able to loosen their bonds; the ex-gunslinger kills the bandit. Nothing stands in the way of a happy future as a family.

criticism

“(I can attest) that an understanding of the dialogue is more of a hindrance when enjoying a film that transcends the usual Italian clichés into the realm of pure surrealism [...] You really get to know a lot about the humor habits of Turkey and the performance of the Turkish stunt people are sometimes reminiscent of Zulawski or the Klimbim family. "

- Christian Keßler : Willkommen in der Hölle, 2002, p. 66

Remarks

As was common with Turkish genre films of the time, the soundtrack consists of pieces from other westerns, without these being licensed.
