Guido Zurli

Guido Zurli (born January 9, 1929 in Foiano della Chiana , Arezzo , † October 23, 2009 in Rome ) was an Italian film director .

After experience as an assistant director, Zurli was the director of feature films of all genres and several production companies with whom he co-produced his films from 1962. He had a special relationship with Turkey , where he made several films, since his first film Le verdi bandiere di Allah from 1963. After a Turkish film in 1972 that was a box-office success, he worked there for several films and returned returned there at the end of the decade in the crisis of Italian cinema. In addition to his feature films , which were often only regionally distributed and difficult to find, Zurli was also active in television, documentary films and the opera stage .

After his active career, Zurli lived in Tuscany . His most common among several pseudonyms was Albert Moore .

Zurli died in Italy on October 23, 2009, at the age of 80.
