Kęstutis Jucevičius

Kęstutis Jucevičius (born August 3, 1968 in Dapkūniškiai , Rajongemeinde Molėtai ) is a Lithuanian lawyer and FNTT director.

Life

After graduating from high school in Balninkai , he served in the Soviet Army . In 1993 he graduated from the Lietuvos policijos akademija and in 2003 the master’s degree in economics from the Kauno technologijos universitetas . From 1989 he worked in the Molėtai militia . From 1993 to 1997 he was inspector and then chief inspector in the criminal police at Policijos departamentas at the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania . From 1997 to 1998 he headed the Utena department and from 1999 to 2001 the Kaunas department of the Tax Police Department. From 2002 to 2011 he headed the operational activities department of FNTT and from 2011 to 2012 the operational activities subdivision of the special tasks department of FNTT. In 2009, Andrius Kubilius made him colonel in the office. Since March 2012 he has been the director of FNTT, appointed by Interior Minister Raimundas Palaitis . In October 2013 he was promoted to General in the office by Algirdas Butkevičius .
