K-Ci & JoJo

K-Ci & JoJo is an American R&B duo, consisting of the brothers K-Ci (born Cedric Hailey , born September 2, 1969 ) and JoJo (born Joel Hailey , born June 10, 1971 ).

life and career

The brothers grew up in Monroe, North Carolina . From 1990 they formed the R&B band Jodeci together with the brothers DeVante Swing and Dalvin DeGrate , with whom they had released three albums and some chart singles. In 1996 the Hailey brothers broke up and released their first chart single, How Could You, for the soundtrack of the film Bulletproof . With How Do U Want It together with rapper Tupac they had their first number 1 hit in the US charts that same year . The debut album Love Always was immediately the most successful, was awarded triple platinum and also contained the most successful single: All My Life . This ballad reached number 1 in the US , Australia , New Zealand and the Netherlands in 1998 .
