The KEH Ersatzkasse , formerly Eintracht Heusenstamm , is one of the oldest health insurers in Germany . It was founded in Heusenstamm in 1850 as the “Arbeiter-Eintracht” health insurance company, even before Bismarck's social legislation .

Until 1995, only those who lived or worked in Heusenstamm could become members. In 1996 the health insurance for Hesse was opened, in 2000 for Bavaria and Thuringia . On January 1, 2008 KEH, at that time 76,000 insured persons, merged with the company health insurance company Mobil Oil and the name KEH expired.

The fund belonged to the workers' replacement fund association .
