Steven "Steve" Dannenmann (born August 15, 1966 in Baltimore , Maryland ) is an American auditor and poker player . He gained fame when he took second place at the 2005 Main Event of the World Series of Poker occupied.

Career

Dannemann and his friend Jerry Ditzel divided in 2005, the buy-in of 10,000 dollars for the Main Event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas . There he took second place behind the Australian Joe Hachem and won prize money of 4.25 million dollars, which he shared with Ditzel. Through his success, Dannenmann qualified for the WSOP Tournament of Champions , in which he finished fifth and won another $ 100,000. In mid-September 2008, Dannenmann finished eleventh at the World Poker Tour Main Event in Atlantic City for $ 65,000. At the beginning of October 2012, he took twelfth place at the main event of the World Series of Poker Europe, which was played in Cannes, and was worth more than 50,000 euros .

In total, Dannenmann has earned almost five million dollars with poker in live tournaments.
