KFNB - Fortuna I to Leda I
FORTUNA I , PSYCHE I , PALLAS I , CHLOE I , SYLPHIDE I and "LEDA I" were six passenger train steam locomotives of the KFNB . They were delivered to KFNB in 1853 by the Cockerill locomotive factory in Seraing with the axle formula 1B.
The locomotives came from the first attempt by John Haswell , the head of the factory of the Vienna-Gloggnitz Railway Company , to develop a standard type, and were similar to the locomotives described under Austria II to Salamander .
The machines were rebuilt several times.
The "FORTUNA I" and the "LEDA I" were eliminated in 1870, "PSYCHE I" and "PALLAS I" followed in 1874, "CHLOE I" and "SYLPHIDE I" were sold in 1872 to the Waagtalbahn as construction locomotives.
